Women's Transformation Retreats

- BALI -

2021 dates will be announced soon!

These life-changing retreats in Bali are designed to give you the tools to overcome life struggles, achieve goals, and live a happy and rewarding life.

  • Are you holding onto past hurts or facing a particular fear?

  • Are you struggling to connect with who YOU are as a person after devoting your life to be a wife, mother or employee?

  • Have you lived your life in a safe manner, not daring to step outside of your comfort zone?

  • Are you wanting to challenge yourself and set personal goals?

  • Or are you just in need of a break from the day-to-day grind of life and keen to share quality time with a small group of fabulous women?

If you answered yes to any of these, then this retreat is for you!

I will show you the tools to help release past pain, provide you with clear strategies to help you deal with life's challenges, and show you how changing your mindset can lead to a happier life.

I will help you to reconnect with your true self, and work with you to gain a better understanding of what truly motivates you. During the retreat, you will be challenged to step outside of your comfort zone and set new goals, and in doing so, build self-confidence and self-belief.

The retreats in Bali incorporate a mixture of workshops, journaling and fun activities. There will also be an element of sightseeing.

At the conclusion of the retreat, I aim to leave you feeling cleansed, nurtured, challenged and uplifted.

Bali holds a special place in my heart, as I was living in Ubud when I had the opportunity to reflect on my life and write my book "The Girl Who Lived". Putting my life down on paper was a rewarding and healing experience. I would now like to share this special part of the world with you!

Note: The retreat is limited to a small group of women to ensure the program meets individual needs.

Retreat dates

Retreat participants will be met at the airport by our driver and transferred to our resort. Settle in and relax.

We will open the retreat with welcome drinks at 5:00pm, giving us the opportunity to get to know each other before dinner.

Almost everyone has faced or will face, some kind of serious challenge or adversity in their life, whether it be hardship, illness, physical or emotional trauma.

Today we will focus on past experiences or hurts that we wish to process and let go of.

After breakfast, we will participate in a purification ritual at The Holy Water Temple, Pura Tirta Empul.

In the afternoon we will undertake a workshop looking at the tools we can put in place to ensure we are living our happiest life. We will discuss various areas of growth such as self-love, mindfulness and meditation. We will also reflect on what we are most grateful for in life.

After breakfast, we will commence a workshop, exploring what truly motivates us. We will then set ourselves new and challenging goals, and put strategies in place to ensure success.

We will also discuss the importance of stepping outside of our comfort zone.

After breakfast we will wrap up the retreat, sharing our future dreams before saying farewell.

At the conclusion of the retreat, I hope you feel cleansed, nurtured, challenged and uplifted — eager to enjoy every moment of your life!

Frequently asked questions

Is the retreat a health retreat?

Our aim for the retreat is to work on our emotional wellbeing. It is not a "health retreat" as such.

Will you cater to different dietary requirements?

Yes! The menu covers a wide range of dishes and will cater to your individual dietary requirements. Please advise prior to attending if you have any allergies or intolerances. Dishes that are not on the menu can be specifically requested if appropriate notice is provided.

Is alcohol included in the price?

Please ensure you consume alchol responsibly and in a manner that is considerate of other guests. This retreat is not suitable for people dealing with or overcoming alcohol or substance abuse problems.

Is Susan a trained professional?

Susan's workshops have been specifically formulated from her own personal experiences. They will provide you with clear tools to help you deal with life's challenges. Susan has spent 12 months preparing the retreats - researching and speaking with a range of experts in the field of trauma. The workshops have been reviewed by highly trained professionals and the content has been deemed beneficial for those looking to release past pain and live happier lives. Susan is not a licenced psychologist or trained professional. Whilst she will be providing tools to deal with various challenges in life, she will not be offering professional psychological advice.

Where is the resort located?

Our priviate Bali resort is situated in a jungle-clad river gorge 9km from Canggu. It is close to the village of Cepaka in Bali’s Tabanan Regency, known as Bali’s ‘rice bowl’ due to its vast terraced rice fields. This quaint village bordering the Penet River is a rare example of a traditional Balinese community untouched by tourism and the rapid development to the south of the island. The property is just 12 kilometres away from Tanah Lot sea temple while the nearest surf beaches, including Echo Beach, are about eight kilometres from the villa.

Can I share my room with a friend?

Our luxury villas contain king size four-poster beds that are unable to be configured to twin-share. There may be the ability to have a friend share your room if you are willing to share the bed. Cost would be the price of the retreat minus $400 per person. For example (depending on which room you choose), if your retreat cost totals $2650, you would pay $2,250 per person. Please discuss this personally with Susan.

Can I extend my stay?

Susan will endeavour to extend your stay where possible. Please speak personally with Susan about your requirements. Please note, airport transfers are only included when arriving/departing at the commencement/conclusion of the retreat.

Can I pay a deposit now and the balance at a later date?

Yes! You may book a Retreat with a non-refundable deposit of $500 until 90 days prior to the Retreat start date to secure your place, after which full payment is required to secure your spot.

Is this retreat suitable for everyone?

This women-only retreat is not suitable for people who are suffering from addictions to alcohol or illicit substances, or who are struggling to deal with mental health issues including thoughts of suicide. If you are currently undergoing treatment with a trained professional, please seek their approval before attending. This retreat is not suitable for persons under the age of 18.
